Harlequin Great Danes?

Interesting name huh? They get such a cool name from the distinctive color pattern of their coat, which resembles the traditional costume worn by harlequin characters in Italian Commedia dell’arte. Harlequin is a term used to describe a specific coat pattern characterized by a base white coat with irregular black torn patches spread across their body. These patches can vary in size and shape, creating a unique and striking appearance. The name “harlequin” was likely given to these Great Danes due to the resemblance between their coat pattern and the colorful costumes traditionally worn by harlequin characters in theater and entertainment.
